DON'T WASTE TIME

Get ahead of the game

For supermarkets, fruit and veg shops and other food retailers, there will be significant legislative changes impacting the use of plastic in packaging.

As of July 2022, non-compostable plastic packaging products containing additive fragmentable technology that do not meet Australian Standards AS4736-2006 and AS5810-2010 must be phased out.

By 2025 it will be a requirement for 70% of plastic packaging to be recycled or composted.
